Quality Cooker
Have had the oven for a about a month. Quality materials and design.Owned a NuWave in the past, but plastic housing was flimsy. Have cooked a bit of everything. Learned that this is still cooking - just quicker and more convenient. Just imagine it is a great oven/broiler. I particularly like the ability to cook right from the freezer. Fun to watch things cook too. Would like a better recipe book.
Money wasted Secura Digital Turbo
Secura Digital Turbo 798 DH only lasted three months. The first thing to stop functioning was the timer. That was after one month. I went on travel for work for 8 weeks. When I came back, the cooking unit worked for two days and then it stop functioning. Question: the downside of purchasing these appliances online is how to return them. The time it takes to find out where and how to return this non functioning oven on your counter top, it is easier to replace it. GREAT FOR THIS TYPE OF COOKING
Does a terrific job cooking meat, fish and poultry. It turns out wonderfully juicy and moist, even if you cook it a bit too long. I also love it for roasting and baking veggies, baking stuffed Portobello mushroom caps, even for toasting garlic bread. I have only had this oven about a month and expect to continue to find new applications for it. I am not presently sold on its ability to bake items such as cornbread, muffins, biscuits and cakes. I need to experiment some more to get desired results here. Amazon.com has a wonderful product in this turbo oven at a decent price.
