Disney Mickey Mouse Mickey's Snow Cone Maker Snowcone

Horrible toy
My son received this awful thing as a birthday present. What a piece of [...]. I couldn't successfully make any shaved ice. All I got was water after 10 minutes of trying. I could put one normal sized ice cube in, but after a few turns, it had rubbed smooth against the blade and wouldn't shave any longer. So I had to rearrange it and try and again. It was ridiculous. I can't believe Amazon is selling this crappy thing for $[...]. I hope the person who bought it for my son didn't pay that much for it. I'm going to throw the entire thing in the trash tonight after my kids are in bed and hopefully they won't miss it.

Cheap and worthless
It's a terrible design (more cute than functional) and cheaply made, so it's very hard to use. You can't use full-size ice cubes, so I had to put ice cubes in a plastic bag and beat them with a rolling pin first. Even then, the handle was hard to turn and the hopper doesn't hold much ice so I had to refill it 2 times to get 3 small snow cones.

And here's the thing about snow cones: kids ask for them because they look really tasty but they're really just ice. My kid took one bite and let the rest melt.

Now that the "fun" is over, I've got like a dozen separate pieces to store, and of course they can't all fit inside. Plus, it looks like a toy, so my son wants to play with it, but it's got a razor blade inside so he's not allowed to touch it. Talk about an attractive nuisance!

Definitely not worth the $15 we paid at Target.

cute, but non-functional
Can't fit more than one or two ice cubes in or the lid won't screw on. Cranked and cranked and cranked for EVER and couldn't get ONE tiny snow cone.
